About the Role:
Woodrome Medical PA is looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Livingston, TX. This is a vital role where your organizational skills and patient-first attitude will help keep our clinic running smoothly every day. Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in EMR
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
- Manage front desk workflow to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of front desk or medical receptionist experience required
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
